The use of any equipment provided by The Kidston Institute is at the risk of members and The Kidston Institute will accept no liability or responsibility unless due solely to the negligence of The Kidston Institute, their servants or agents.


Members shall be wholly liable and responsible for any loss or damage to the rooms or any part of them or their fixtures or fittings or to any of The Kidston Institute’s equipment used by them or by persons permitted in the rooms by reason of the hire.


No furniture, fittings or equipment shall be moved or removed without the prior written consent of a member of The Kidston Institute Committee.


Rooms used including toilets and kitchen must be left tidy and all items used must be cleaned and put away in relevant areas. Members failing to do so will be liable for costs incurred.


The Kidston Institute operates a no-smoking policy throughout the building including the kitchen, all toilets, corridors, and entrances.


Members may bring a guest to play snooker on payment of £2 per session and entry of their details in the Guest Book. Guests who use these facilities five times will then be required to become members.


Members and guests will be asked to leave The Kidston Institute at any time if behaviour is considered by a member of The Kidston Institute Committee to be unacceptable.
